The 27-year-old was found by police after they were called to a disturbance on the Gold Coast.
Harley Bennell has reportedly been hospitalised just hours after he announced his retirement from the AFL.

The Courier Mail is reporting police found the former Demons star heavily intoxicated on the Gold Coast on Monday night after they were called to a disturbance at an apartment in Broadbeach.
