Australian model Megan Gale has joined hundreds of mourners to farewell her brother at his funeral, four weeks after he was found dead in bushland.

It is not known whether Ms Gale arrived in Western Australia two weeks ago and completed 14-day quarantine, or she was granted an exemption after flying in from the COVID-19 hotspot.

A devastated Ms Gale was spotted wearing a black coat and large sunglasses as she stepped into a limousine after the service.

Her fiancé, former AFL star Shaun Hampson, son River, five, and daughter Rosie, two, were among more than 200 people to attend the funeral, The West Australian reported.

There are no attendance restrictions on funerals in Western Australia, provided mourners maintain social distancing by keeping two metres apart.
