Tottenham fans will be praying everything finally comes together for Nuno Espirito Santo and his team on Sunday when the first North London Derby of the season takes place.

On the losing side in the Premier League last weekend as Chelsea left Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 3-0 victory, Spurs actually impressed in the opening 45 minutes and were the better team before their second-half capitulation.

There were more positives for Espirito Santo to take on Wednesday evening as the Lilywhites advanced 3-2 on penalties in the Carabao Cup at Wolves following a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.

Catching the eye with some very good football inside the first 45 minutes as they raced into a two-goal lead courtesy of strikes from Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Kane, the team did have a slight wobble after Wolves had got themselves back into the tie but they did manage to hold on and advance to the fourth round of the cup.

Now it's about putting all the positives together and ensuring that Spurs deliver a solid and entertaining performance over the 90 minutes as they look to get back on track in the league.

Given it is Arsenal on the agenda on Sunday at the Emirates, there is no better place for Espirito Santo and Spurs to return to winning ways.

Having some important calls to make in terms of his team selection with a few places up for grabs, the head coach has two big decisions when it comes to his defence.
