Windsor city council extends mandatory mask order despite protest

Windsor city council extended a mandatory mask bylaw on Monday despite a large protest and many delegates speaking against it.

Dozens of protesters gathered outside city hall before the meeting. None of them wore masks. They carried signs with slogans including "My Body My Choice," "No To Mandatory Masks" and "I Do Not Consent."

Many protesters later entered council chambers with no masks on. Council heard from 10 delegates who all opposed the bylaw.
