Brighton and Hove local authority has granted planning permission to construct purpose-built student accommodation on Brighton's Lewes Road following a thorough consultation process on January 13,

The development, designed by Greenaway Architects, will primarily house the city's Screen and Film School students, and Alumno will work closely with the college to create a movie theme for the building that will appeal to its attendees. The residence will also be available to students of other local education establishments.

Alumno partners with universities, colleges and other stakeholders to provide high quality living space for students across the UK, including London, Birmingham, Norwich, Glasgow, Durham and St Andrews.
