Actor Amit Sadh shared a lengthy note on his Instagram profile, revealing that he has decided to go 'offline' The reason, he explained, was his "posts and reels of the gym sessions, the silly things that I do will not heal or entertain anyone."

The actor said that 'this is not a criticism to anyone', adding, "I personally feel the best way to be sensitive about the situation is to pray and hope for things to get better."

The novel coronavirus cases are on the rise in what is being referred to as the second wave. The country recorded 1,26,789 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours which is the highest since the pandemic hit. Maharashtra, where Sadh resides, is the worst affected with 59,907 new cases.

Sadh, known for his performances in films like Kai Po Che and Guddu Rangeela, went on to say that he will continue what is expected of him. He will "wear a mask, maintain a social distance of 6 feet, step out when necessary, follow protocols and rules."
