Delhi: How college rivalry between Jitendra Gogi, Tillu Tajpuria led to gang war

The rivalry between Jitendra Gogi and Tillu Tajpuria started during their college days, which then turned into a gang war in the past 10 years or so.
Gangster Jitendra alias Gogi was shot inside Rohini court in Delhi on Friday by attackers who are believed to be from the Tillu Tajpuria gang. The shootout inside the court has left three people dead and another lawyer injured.

The incident brought the focus on the rivalry between the two gangs in the city, the seed of which was sown during the college days of Jitendra Gogi and Tillu Tajpuria.

The feud between gangster Gogi and Tillu Tajpuria, who were once friends, reportedly started in 2010 with a college student union election in outer Delhi, which later turned into a gang war.

In 2018, there was a gang war between members of the Gogi and Tillu gang in Burari in which three people were killed and five injured.
