EC notice to BJP's Suvendu Adhikari for alleged 'hate speech' in Nandigram

The Election Commission on Thursday served a notice to BJP's Suvendu Adhikari, saying that it received a complaint from Kavita Krishnan of CPI-ML Central Committee in which it was alleged that on March 29 Adhikari delivered a "hate speech" in Nandigram while addressing a public meeting.
The Election Commission of India has served a notice to BJP's Nandigram candidate Suvendu Adhikari based on a complaint of hate speech filed by CPI-ML politburo member Kavita Krishnan on March 31.

The poll body has sought a response from Suvendu Adhikari within 24 hours.
