Allegheny County Health Department officials reported 127 new covid-19 cases on Sunday, with four more hospitalizations.

The new numbers marked the the third straight day of declines in new cases after a record-setting 233 cases Thursday, followed by 177 cases Friday and 150 Saturday.

The county reported no new deaths, leaving the total at 187. On Friday, the state had reported Allegheny County as having 190 deaths.

Allegheny County now has seen 3,557 cases of covid-19 since the first were reported March 14.

In the newest cases, ages ranged from 8 months to 84 years old with the median age being 30.

In all, 412 patients who tested positive for the virus have had to be hospitalized, representing nearly 12% of the county's cases.
