"I pulled through. It wasn't my time to go," Dorsey said.

In April, the 18-year-old was rushed to Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Doctors diagnosed him with COVID-19 and told his family he had a heart attack and double pneumonia because of it.

"I was sick for like four days before and I finally went to the hospital. I didn't want to go but my mom made me go and when I went in I didn't come back out," Dorsey said.
