Jack Miller edges out Ducati counterpart Andrea Dovizioso by a mere 0.004s to head up FP1 for the Styrian MotoGP, the second of two events at the Red Bull Ring
Ducati picked up from where it left off following last weekend's Austrian MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring as Jack Miller and Andrea Dovizioso locked out the top two positions in first free practice for the Styrian MotoGP.

The second of back-to-back events to be held at the Spielberg circuit, Miller sprung to the front in the closing stages as a handful of riders unseated long-time timesheet topper Takaaki Nakagami in the final minutes.

There was precious little to choose between the pair though with Miller 0.004s quicker than Ducati stablemate Dovizioso to nose his satellite Pramac Racing machine ahead.

Miguel Oliveira briefly led the way in the final stages before being bumped down but nonetheless…
