Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp fears have been eased after the German FA made a decision on Joachim Low's future as Germany boss.

Klopp has long been viewed as the ideal successor to Low, whose reign has come under increased pressure following Germany's 6-0 drubbing by Spain on Tuesday.

Low led Die Mannschaft to World Cup glory in 2014, but failed to get his side out of the group stage four years later in Russia.

Results have dipped in recent months, turning up the heat on the Germany boss - with Lothar Matthaus saying before Tuesday's game that Klopp is the "one person" who can replace Low.
